Episode 02 Featuring Ben Golliver of Blazer's Edge Shownotes

Episode 2 is up! I'll admit, it is a day late, and I apologize for the wait. I had a little computer issue yesterday. However, now the computer is up and running as it should be and here is Rip City Podcast Episode 2: Featuring Ben Golliver of Blazer's Edge.

Hosts Kane, Jordan and Matt got to On Deck Sports Bar and Grill and found a wealth of people
and noise to make recording there impossible. Since we are from south of Portland, we chose to record in a bar that Kane is familiar with near his place. So we went there and asked them to kindly put the game on. They obliged and even let us record the show there! Our next episode will be recorded at On Deck Sports Bar and Grill in Portland on January 25 from 6:00-8:00 pm. All are welcome to come say hello and hang with us!

This episode has an interview with Ben Golliver from Blazer's Edge. We want to send a big thanx to Ben for being on our show and let him know that he is welcome to come on again anytime he would like. Quick note: The interview was done via Skype, and has a couple audio glitches that Matt could not repair. It gets a little scrambled for just a second. Sorry about that, the internet is amazing and crappy at the same time.

Here's the questions from the Rip City Faceoff segment. Again, if you want the answers, you will have to listen to the show. Do you want to submit questions to be read during the Rip City Faceoff segment? Please e-mail them to us!

Q1) Last season, Kevin Pritchard was replaced by Rich Cho. Three assistant coaches were picked up at the same time. Can you name 2 of them?

Q2) In the '76-'77 playoffs, not counting the finals, who did Portland face?

Q3) Who did they face in the Finals?

Q4) Since the Trailblazers were founded, how many seasons have they made it to the playoffs?

Q5) Name three former Blazers that are honored as one of the NBA's 50 greatest Players.

We would also love to hear what your Greatest Blazer Moment is. E-mail them to us and we will pick the one or two that we like the most and read them on the air! We would also like to ask a favor of our great listeners. Our iTunes rating is not judged by downloads or subscription numbers, as it should be, it is judged by the number of comments left on our iTunes page. Please head over to our iTunes page and leave a comment. The better our ranking, the more opportunities we will have to get more guests. With enough iTunes rating clout, we may be able to get Blazers on the show!

We hope you enjoy this episode and please join us next time!
