Rip City Podcast Episode 4

We recorded this episode at Magoo's Sports Bar in Salem, OR on Commercial street because the 3 of us were pretty crunched for time and couldn't make the trek up to Portland. We will again soon! Trade rumors, return of Marcus Camby and Brandon Roy, Matt and Kane's Blazer game they attended and virtually anything else Blazers was discussed.
Sean and Monica (sorry if I spelled either of those incorrectly) were at Magoo's just hanging out in some Blazer gear when they observed the Rip City Podcast recording. They were listening to us banter and politely watching Matt fuss with his gear. When we went to break, we ended up in a discussion with them and decided to have them on to do "Rip City Rapidfire" with us.
Thanks to Sean and Monica for being such great sports and joining us on the show! We encourage all of our listeners to follow their example and come find us while we are recording some time. We love talking Blazers with everyone! Maybe you'll even end up on the show! Hope to see you two again soon!

Episode 3: Featuring Dustin Hawes from the Blazer's and Holy Backboard

Episode 3 finds us at On Deck Sports Bar and Grill, again, recording with Blazer's Staffer and Holy Backboard blogger Dustin Hawes. Matt and Dustin came up together, back in the day they used to play on Matt's adjustable hoop in his driveway, with the hoop on the lowest setting so they could dunk! We had a blast recording with Dustin and look forward to having him on again sometime in the future. Thanks for joining us Dustin!

Fire up the trade rumors folks, Rich Cho announces he is actively shopping...

Ladies and Gentleman, it's my favorite time of the season, where blockbuster trades happen (not so much in this case) and NBA players are on their toes and best behavior. Its the Trade Deadline. Let's face it, the Blazers are struggling. Rich Cho has said the team is missing a few key pieces to become a contender. So here we go, its trade rumor time! Leave your trade ideas, players you want to see in a Blazer uniform, and players you would let go. Big changes are in store, are you ready for it?

Episode 02 Featuring Ben Golliver of Blazer's Edge Shownotes

Episode 2 is up! I'll admit, it is a day late, and I apologize for the wait. I had a little computer issue yesterday. However, now the computer is up and running as it should be and here is Rip City Podcast Episode 2: Featuring Ben Golliver of Blazer's Edge.

Hosts Kane, Jordan and Matt got to On Deck Sports Bar and Grill and found a wealth of people
and noise to make recording there impossible. Since we are from south of Portland, we chose to record in a bar that Kane is familiar with near his place. So we went there and asked them to kindly put the game on. They obliged and even let us record the show there! Our next episode will be recorded at On Deck Sports Bar and Grill in Portland on January 25 from 6:00-8:00 pm. All are welcome to come say hello and hang with us!

This episode has an interview with Ben Golliver from Blazer's Edge. We want to send a big thanx to Ben for being on our show and let him know that he is welcome to come on again anytime he would like. Quick note: The interview was done via Skype, and has a couple audio glitches that Matt could not repair. It gets a little scrambled for just a second. Sorry about that, the internet is amazing and crappy at the same time.
